Quism of complexes

Definition

A quasi-isomorphism or quism of chain complexes is a homomorphism from one chain complex to the other, that introduces isomorphism at the level of homology groups.

The equivalence relation generated by the symmetric transitive closure of quisms, gives rise to the derived category.
