This category lists properties of topological spaces that are closed upon taking retracts. In other words, if ${\displaystyle X}$ is a topological space satisfying the property, and ${\displaystyle A}$ is a retract of ${\displaystyle X}$, then ${\displaystyle A}$ also satisfies the property.
